Unfortunately I’ve seen an emerging subset of men like this who *do* want to be influencers, and they’re trying to brand themselves reading the classics & great books as a way to perform the exclusive ‘men’s club’ aesthetic from the 18th and 19th centuries and keep out women, queer folx etc.
