But our record is unique for its high-resolution, which allows us to investigate decadal-scale variability. We find higher decadal-scale temperature variability during the early Holocene, roughly during the warmest period.

We found a significant correlation between Ca/Ti and spring + summer temp spanning over 200 years even after accounting for age uncertainty.

This paper presents a new 3-year resolution temperature reconstruction for the past 10,800 years based on Ca/Ti ratios. But this work builds on many years of work on the fantastic varves of Lake Żabińskie, Poland.
