Really enjoyed the pod.. unsure on Gibbs-White as an 8 though. Happy to be proven wrong but don't think he has the quality in small spaces and the pausa that we know Pep craves in those positions.

I think it's worth discussing the idea that we don't sign anyone. I can see them pointing at the all the players returning from injury and using the line around not over paying for players in January. It would be baffling but that's how I see it playing out.

The worrying this is next season will become the transitional season when it so clearly should have been this season. Not replacing Walker aswell as not signing a centre midfielder this summer was baffling.

I honestly think all of our issues are down to the squad management. Kept too many players for too long (mainly Walker), sold players who are clearly good enough and signed too many average players. That's why we end up with an 11 today that are either too old or not good enough.

Sold players without replacing them, or replacing them with squad players. Maybe too harsh a word but the squad is much worse now than it was 2/3 years ago, that doesn't happen by accident.

We've purposefully made the squad weaker year on year for around 3 seasons now. Can't be shocked when it starts to reflect on the pitch. Walker wasn't deemed good enough to start during the treble run in. How have they decided he's good enough almost 2 years on?

I struggle to see what the plan is for making chances? That frustrates me more than anything else.
