What is this planet called??

I find Endermen pretty scary. They're the most alien-looking mobs in the game (other fantasy mobs fit more familiar tropes), and that "stare" sound they make when you look at them is downright chilling.

Both the Simpsons Movie 2 and the Minecraft movie sequel will release on the same day... this is my Barbenheimer.

While updating to 1.21.9, I've found this monstrosity: 4 encounters in a row to achieve the actual chamber... That's more encounters than the average vanilla player would ever experience in their lifetime.

I'd love biomes made of monoliths. Either giant ones in jungles akin to the Zhangjiajie national forest, or small ones in flower forests/old growth birch forests similar to the flatlands in Legends.

An intentional side effect of making these encounters more common is that hallways also appear more often. I believe this is a good thing: it makes Trial Chambers larger and more varied, instead of always sticking to an "L" shape.

Encounters were meant to be smaller Trial Chamber rooms that lead into bigger rooms. They came out a year ago in "Bundles of Bravery", yet I'm sure most players have never seen one because of how absurdly rare they are.

So I made a datapack fixing their rarity:

They added a block state to display items on the shelf (it's not a perfect replica of how they were in 25w32a though). I assume that making a datapack to set this as the default state wouldn't be too hard.

It's cool to see pretty Minecraft merch that don't scream "Hey look, I'm Minecraft!!"... I want these so badly... but $130... it hurts...

J'ai jeté un œil à la liste des épisodes qu adaptés par François Dubuc, histoire de ne pas être hors-sujet dans le chat. Autant partager la liste ici, au cas où d'autres voudraient faire pareil !

On that note, shout-out to Stéphane Excoffier who has been dubbing Jemma Redgrave since 2013, despite Kate Stewart having a hiatus from like 2015 to 2022.

I just realized Billie Piper is dubbed by Géraldine Frippiat in French in the latest #DoctorWho episode, just like in 2005-2008.

I love when voice actors return after so long. It keeps the voice consistent, and it's lovely to imagine they somewhat care about the character!

I mentioned that on the Feedback Discord too, which might be worth a shameless plug:

Hey Marc, to stay on the subject of capes, are you allowed to tell us more about the scrapped "veteran capes"? Like, what were they supposed to look like, how they would have worked, why it was scrapped, etc.? 👀

My only minor complaint is that the fog in caves should be a bit darker - the current one makes caves a bit too bright. I've been experimenting with different fog colors for the different cave biomes, and I think it works pretty well :

I absolutely love the new fog. It, along with the new clouds, adds a lot of depth.

I've seen many people claiming that Mojang retconed baby ghasts (from Minecraft Dungeons) by adding dried ghasts, a take I don't agree with. So, here is my headcanon on the ghast life cycle.

(Reposted cause the previous post had gazillions of typos.)

Today marks one year since I joined Bluesky. In that time, I’ve thoughtfully cultivated this space by doing absolutely nothing. I think that my performance has been flawless so far. 🎉
