Miss seeing so many peeps so am following the migration from Twitter to Bluesky. 🦄 Once a lurker always a lurker but at least I can see friendly faces, catch up on normal things, and not have what I want to see steamrolled by algorithms.

Favorite amigurumi pattern reviews: "3/5 stars: The pattern is well-written with great pics on putting it all together but the results look just okay and not like the pic, though I didn't follow some of the instructions and didn't the suggested yarn or hook. Too bad it doesn't look better."

Obviously, this is amazing BUT the thing I love most, is that it's directly poking fun at the desire/fetish to overanimate overlapping action & smears.
Asking someone of James Baxter's calibre to *intentionally* do this (as well as mess up the spacing on a bounce) is funny in the nerdiest way.
