vim is abt manipulating texts at the speed of thought, so your training early on focuses on eliminating the latency between your thought and the actions required for it. later, the training will focus on producing effective thoughts (don’t get distracted!).

another way to be dynamic, ^ takes you to the beginning of the line after indent. 0w gets the same result, see which one you like better. or dw (delete word) with df<space>. I personally like the latter for reasons.

started picking it up 2021, my first month was like playing a very hard video game.

tips: try to be more dynamic with your actions. never resist voices like “how many lines is this file”, G to go to the bottom, <c-o> to go right back, fast & cheap
