This one is going to be a 3 in 1 kinda deal, because I love all three of these equally. They introduced me to survival horror games when I was young, and honestly are what got me really into horror games in general. The atmosphere was incredible, and the campiness of the story was so good.

This is a more obscure game that I loved to play as a kid. The music kicks so much ass, it has stuck with me ever since. Though it's probably the only game in its genre that I enjoy, sad to say, I just don't like bullet hells or rail shooters all that much.

One thing I think people should know about me is that I am the owner of Headless Tifa.

This entire series will count as a game I love, because it would just take too many slots. Etrian Odyssey got me into the grid-based dungeon crawling genre. I loved the atmosphere and sense of discovery of crawling through a harsh labyrinth. The music is also very nice and fitting.

Now this game, or more specifically the series, had an impact on me growing up. I loved the gameplay and the story legit made me cry in the end. It has its flaws, but I still love it. I also unironically liked the anime pilot and wished they made a series out of it when I was a kid.

Final Fantasy 7 was a game I played as a child that really got me. I was in love with the music and world, the characters and story immersed me and even made me cry at points. It really made me love more emotional story and character focused RPG's.

Ahh, now while Pokemon might have introduced me to video games with a taste of adventure in a bright and cheery environment, Diablo (specifically for the PS1) really got me into horror as a concept for adventure. It was such an atmospheric game and had a rich lore that child me was engrossed in.

I'm going to start off with the games I have the most nostalgia for, but are also the first ones I played as a kid. I never did beat the first gen of pokemon as a kid, but it gave me a taste of adventure and it was very fun. The music still sticks with me to this day!
