I am full of hope knowing @thenext50.bsky.social leaders are paving the way.

These next-generation leaders, all under 50 years old, across our party’s ideological spectrum, from the Arctic Circle to the Atlantic Coast, unified by pragmatic leadership, embody the Democratic Party’s path forward.

We can win in swing states. @thenext50.bsky.social did.

Then there is @thenext50.bsky.social Leadership Council member Sarah McBride whose campaign we supported on day one. She is now the first- *ever* transgender member of Congress.

Amid the rise in trans bigotry, she has gracefully and relentlessly reminded us to focus on issues over identity.

We also proudly backed Janelle Bynum who flipped the only seat in 🇺🇸 from 🔴 to 🔵, outside of NY & CA, that did not benefit from a district redrawn over the last two years.

Speaking of redistricting, we also backed Shomari Figures who won a newly-drawn district in Alabama!

At the congressional level, Gabe Vasquez was re-elected to his second term.

@thenext50.bsky.social was his first national endorsement in 2022!

For the first time, we put over $1M total behind Marie Gluesenkamp Perez and Jared Golden who held seats that Trump won by 5 and 9 points respectively.

Beyond typical battlegrounds, in Alaska (!!), we successfully backed Native Alaskan women Maxine Dibert (for the 2nd time!) & Robyn Burke who helped flip the state house from 🔴 to 🟣 by forming a multi-partisan coalition.

Dems achieved influence in both legislative bodies not had in 40+ years!

Among those victories, in North Carolina, @thenext50.bsky.social -endorsed Dante Pittman’s victory broke the GOP supermajority in the North Carolina House of Representatives and will preserve Governor-elect Josh Stein’s veto on a handful of critical issues!

At the state legislature level, in battleground states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, & North Carolina, of those running in competitive general elections, @thenext50.bsky.social -endorsed leaders won 2/3 of our races.

Those who lost did so by the closest margins in their state.

In Michigan, we backed State Supreme Court Justice Kyra Harris Bolden with over $500K. While unsuccessful in her 2022 bid, she was appointed to a vacant seat & won in 2024 with 60%+ of the vote!

She’s a former civil litigation attorney & the great-granddaughter of a lynching victim.

We also supported Attorney General-elect Jeff Jackson who is one of our party’s most effective communicators on TikTok and Instagram.

Jeff is a former assistant district attorney and Army veteran. We are proud to have helped him prepare for this statewide run as well.

We supported Senators-elect Elissa Slotkin and Ruben Gallego, the only Senators-elect in Trump-won swing states.

Elissa, a Jewish former intelligence official in the Bush and Obama Admins.

Ruben, a Latino Marine veteran who we are especially proud to have helped prepare for his run.

@thenext50.bsky.social invested $4.1M+ in next-gen Democrats and 68 percent won their races in swing districts and states.

20 percent won by fewer than 1,000 votes!! These leaders are both promising and ran in some of our country’s most competitive races.
