But outside of commander hybrid mana isn't really multicolour. In limited hybrid mana has commonly been used for supporting monocolour decks or stretching 5 colour pairs for a table of 8. A U/W hybrid card has historically not been exclusively wanted by UW decks etc

But this card could be easily printed as mono white, just look at Serra Paragon. So why would it be excluded from all non black Wx decks?

It would look out of place in mono blue but the card could easily be mono green without anyone blinking an eye, which I feel is a pretty good argument for allowing hybrid cards to fly

It seems like a non issue but I'm not a particularly invested commander player. Most hybrid cards are fairly terrible so I'm not sure much will be changed, and maybe these niche cards will actually get a home every now and then

Gloomhaven is so good, never got around to finishing Frosthaven which was even better imo

My personal perspective is that as long as the gameplay is fun then I don't care that much about the flavour thats included. FIN draft was an all timer and I couldn't care less for Final Fantasy as property

Honestly I feel like all the 3c uncommons in Shards are among the coolest cards in Magic.

I wish they pushed for readability over aesthetics (EOE's text box obscuring comments are a big pet peeve of mine) but I enjoy more complicated limited experiences so have no issue with them adding in more keywords etc. STX is gold standard imo, I want it to be part of core experience and be clear

I'd really disagree because I think bonus sheets are a really fun inclusion for limited enironments. FIN is one of the best draft sets in recent memory, and outside of a few outliers the bonus sheet is fantastic. In EoE there are some really strong lands but a lot of garbage

Do you have any top tips? A bunch of people in my local community want to learn but I'm worried I've been playing too long to do a good job teaching new players

I would disagree that multiplayer is a distraction in Souls, it's pretty central to the design of the game (thematically and mechanically)

I think I get baited in rpgs to play all the side quests, so I keep going on contracts and fighting spectres all the time - going to try and go back to the game and just focus the story so I don't bore myself on fights anymore lol

Yeah the combat feels very boring and easy, which is slowing my progression of the story - but a lot of the quests and writing is so good

Frosthaven is a better narrative than Gloomhaven and iterates the gameplay. Arkham Horror the Card game is meant to be great, and Earthborne Rangers looks really endearing

yeah that take is so popular and its mind boggling to me. i tried watching lost and i'm wondering why its like 2-3x as many episodes as it needs to be. seeing people explain they want more character time but thats individual faling of series, Patriot is incredible at this with shorter ep count

I think it's more of a debate than a definitive answer. Most comp games allow you to play bots, so if I've made the decision not to play against them I'd prefer it stay that way - no matter how soul crushing the loss streak might be. Play to improve, not win. But I know that doesn't apply to all
