I am cursed by having an absolutely superb sushi restaurant that’s about 200 yards from my front door, and I eat there every Friday for lunch. This week, I managed to take these pics of my spider roll before devouring it. If you’re in the South Bay, don’t sleep on Bistro Miyoda. #sushi

I am super grateful that we live in a world where we can get advance notice of an earthquake. But I was already in high-stress mode this morning when this alert came in. We felt nothing here in Redondo Beach. Here's hoping the best for my San Diego friends, whom I'm damn sure felt this temblor.

Redondo Beach is usually blessed with some of the cleanest air imaginable, coming straight off the Pacific Ocean. So while this isn’t terrible, I’m looking forward to it improving to its typical state. #fires

Even with a majority, the MAGA party can't align to do anything, and this now resembles a Dem victory. I'm also glad that President Musk his underling Donnie will be bigly mad about the CR having passed. They wanted a shutdown so badly. Sucks to be them!
