A lesson that I'd share is that you should never tie your Worth to what others say about you.
not in sigma way, but like.
ALWAYS train to be a good actor REGARDLESS of their opinion.
Do it for the craft not recognition.
at the same time keep Trying your luck.
Skills DOES NOT equal Validation.

From the creative Side, Getting acting Gigs or ANY filmmaking gig for that matter. my Island Heavily Gatekeeps it and that made it impossible for me to get any in.
even in Workshops.
If I was abroad it would be different.
But as of now the biggest issue has been Gatekeeping
