Blanket statements remain reductive and problematic, but I can think of examples where this applies.

Many are white conservatives who begin sentences with, “I’m not racist…but…”

My favorite read lately: Purification of the Heart by Hamza Yusuf. It reveals how trials and injustices stem from within us—greed, power, and exploitation—and serves as a powerful guide to transforming the heart.
