Proponemos un marco de cinco pilares:
• Micro-hubs locales para clasificación y reciclaje
• Sistemas de trazabilidad digital
• Incentivos fiscales dirigidos a cooperativas de reutilización y empresas sociales
• Programas de empleo verde vinculados a la gestión textil
• Reporte de datos

Analizamos la generación de residuos textiles, el marco legislativo y el estado de las infraestructuras en Europa, aplicándolo al contexto específico de Macaronesia, una región con mercados pequeños, mayores costes logísticos y ecosistemas especialmente sensibles

We propose a five-pillar policy framework including:
• Micro-hubs for local sorting/recycling
• Digital traceability systems
• Fiscal incentives & social enterprises
• Waste-to-work programs

Work from TEXTIL project (1/MAC/2/2.6/009); INTERREG MAC Programme 2021-2027 (FEDER)

The work reviews textile waste generation, legislation, and infrastructure across Europe, paying particular attention to the unique context of Macaronesia, territories with fragile ecosystems, small markets, and logistical constraints.

Both systems cut flammability and smoke emissions, with MP/AC/PS achieving strong fire resistance at lower concentrations, showing great promise for sustainable, lightweight automotive applications.
