The 1960s were transformative for student governments worldwide. Students gained power, influencing politics, education, & society. Yet, progress was not a final result for some student movements. One tragic example: the Tlatelolco Massacre in Mexico, 1968. 🧵

Serbian students protest for justice for victims of the Novi Sad railway station's awning collapse, more funding for the University of Belgrade, and key resignations. Lacking international support, these student protests face challenges in effectiveness.
