Voters don't realize that when they vote to elect or re-elect a senator, they are giving that person 6 years in office. Dick Durbin, Chuck Schumer, and anyone who served for more than 12 years are all wealthy thanks to corporate money, such as American Airlines. They have nothing to lose.
