Republicans pretended we were in a recession when the economy was booming under Biden. Now they’re pretending the economy is booming under Trump despite warning signs that we’re in or entering a recession caused by Trump.

In the early 2000s, Oklahoma did ok in education. Now, we’re 48th out of 50 states. You know what happened in the early 2000s? Term limits took effect. Did term limits cause education to decline? Partly. Yeah.

Term limits are bad. The Koch brothers just wanted them to weaken Congress and empower lobbyists and the executive. Please stop advocating for term limits.

I cannot emphasize enough how bad of an idea legislative term limits are. You know who thought they were a good idea? The Koch brothers. You know why? Because it makes lobbyists' jobs easier. They are so, so bad. Stop. If you're a progressive or just value competent legislators, just stop.

If we want to revise the name “Indian” to something else, many Natives actually are not fans of the term “Native American.” I use both, but I’d be amenable to using the term “Turtle Islander.” At least that has cultural roots, even if not totally universal in its origins
