the so-called "male crisis" always seemed iffy to me in ways i couldn't quite put my finger on. this essay provides some nice clarity!

highly recommend Scott Galloway et al read some Terry Real. I know you're out there listening, Scott...
We’ve come to accept that there’s a crisis among young men. But “you can just as easily argue on the behalf of a woman crisis as a man crisis—or, perhaps most accurately, for an ongoing multidirectional crisis affecting us all,” Jessica Winter writes. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/LgnYm_
What Did Men Do to Deserve This?
Changes in the economy and in the culture seem to have hit them hard. Scott Galloway believes they need an “aspirational vision of masculinity.”

EXCLUSIVE: New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani is calling on FIFA to end dynamic pricing on World Cup tickets.

His petition “Game Over Greed” also demands that FIFA reinstates a cap on ticket resales and sets aside 15 percent of tickets for local residents at a discount.

Vox laying off Robert Sietsema is one of the worst media decisions I've seen in a long time, and that's saying something.

Took the munchkin to see Moana 2 today and agree 100% with this. Have never seen Hamilton or The Heights, so my opinion of the guy who wrote “Shiny” is pretty high!
The songs in Moana 2 are terrible. I wrote about what Lin-Manuel Miranda brought to Disney, and what we’ve lost without him.
After Moana 2, We All Owe Lin-Manuel Miranda an Apology
Without him, every song in the sequel is as flimsy and disposable as the last.
