Beck's discography is weird and neat because different segments of his audience likely regard different albums as the masterpiece. I agree that Odelay is his best, but I love Sea Change and also feel Mellow Gold is way too good to remain in Odelay's shadow.

I revisited Vice recently for this piece and described it as "generic-brand Oliver Stone for MSNBC junkies." It's condescending and goofy, but Steve Carell is great as Rumsfeld.
