Are full size images being decoded and uploaded to the gpu?

There are so many things. Don't make the backdrop on player controls too dark, get them out of my way quickly, allow keyboard shortcuts and keep them consistent, never take away my ability to skip an intro - even if I don't do it right away, etc

When I was younger I had to have a hole in my ear drum repaired, they used a piece of skin from my ear lobe. I actually don't know much about it since I was so young, apparently it's called a tympanoplasty.
