What the reactions to the tik tok ban is teaching us is that public ability to separate xenophobia, geopolitics, and national security is gone.

Pardon me why I try to find all the people I don't actually know but kinda know on Twitter and deal with the anxiety of whether or not they remember we used to follow each other and occasionally retweet each other in the old days.

Just my 2 cents. But my goal is to ignore the trolls. Give them zero attention. Block them if they annoy me.

I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc
