Is there any particular reason you pushed it to 80 cards?

I’ve primarily played your original 66 card list, sporadically over the last 6-8 months, and enjoyed the high density of creatures [feels true to the color pie]. Excited to test the newer 76 and 80 card lists though too

“control soup” haha love it. I like The Surgical Bay in this list, and may add The Fair Basilica to my copy of Steppe Bros. a simple but powerful draw ability

What kind of nonbasics do you run in dandan? I think basics are important, but curious to hear how you upgrade the manabase in a monocolor deck like this

wow, so fast lol! yeah, this definitely looks like it has bones. i’m still trying to wrap my head around barubaru itself [not sure when you’d choose to play it vs discard when you already have one out], but it looks fun

!!! no way! i know more Di- and DeGregorios exist out there, but it’s pretty uncommon over here in the states. never would have thought i’d meet more through MTG/Dan Dan of all places!

Agreed on the challenge with ramp in this kind of format. Too bad more cards don’t do similar things that Overlord of the Hauntwoods does. I wonder if there are some treasure-producing cards that would do the trick

Wow, yeah, those are all very different and flavorful options. I especially like the way Sylvan Safekeeper has a built-in payoff for your extra ramp. And I love the idea of Azusa’s Many Journeys, the only creature on the backside of a saga

I keep meaning to write you that Steppe Bros is truly astounding. My favorite Dan Dan deck I’ve played by far, and I’ve built the list 3x now [and gifted one to a friend]

Do you have any thoughts on what would make a good green Dan Dan build? The ones I’ve played have been lackluster.
