One of the best parts of traveling to tournaments is spending Friday hanging out with friends at local spots trying to figure out our decks and now a limited format. Reminds me of the week before finals in college, but with better food and drinks.

Starting ClashCon 2026 off right with drinks, crazy shakes, and some late night draft testing with the Wolf Pack. Jam session tomorrow before the tournament Saturday!

I’ve always loved when card games print lore books, but it’s next level to have issues of the Alpha Clash comic book releasing leading up to their sets being released. Issue #2 released this week and I’m loving the story so far!

We were recently discussing our favorite card game artists at work and, of course, I brought up @magalivilleneuve.bsky.social. I pulled up some of my favorite art and don’t think I’ll ever get over her Lord of the Rings work back in the 2010’s. The way she captures light is just something else!!

I certainly didn’t have supporting comics books on my bingo card when Covenant started 18 years ago (or even one year ago!), but I love the direction Alpha Clash is moving!
