Seems like the excesses were prior to the bubble bursting, so prior to easier money but still in the throes of seeing others make “easy money” with dotcom crap. The Fed rate in 2000 was higher than during the LTCM bailout. Now, we’re in a new age of grift, even after a 400bs climb on the ten year.
