If it isn’t for some growth incentive, I’d say go for as long as you need to. If I like a podcast I don’t mind putting it on pause and picking it back up. I do that often.

I do wonder if that quick turn around to a PT made TDM feel “solved” too fast for some people as well. Also, yeah Khans is extremely enduring comparatively. One of the Goats for me.

This was a fantastic article! I think all the changes are couched in an ever-evolving understanding of what makes competitive magic great and the aspirations to find that “sweet spot,” for players. There will be a LOT of chatter if legacy sees no bans. I see a token tamiyo or entomb ban. I think they said they take community sentiment more seriously these days, no bans would fly in the face of that imo.

I think of it as that moment when the whole process becomes “fun,” for lack of a more articulate word about the process of growing out of a plateau.
