Britt gifted me a Korg NTS-1 synth for Xmas. First new piece of gear I've played with after years of not doing anything musical. Connected it to an old SQ-1 sequencer and I'm hooked all over again. Seriously considering revamping the "live-rig-in-a-suitcase" idea, like I'm ever gonna play live.

Spent New Year's Day reading a list of the best MST3k episodes and watching them. Winners so far: "The Brute Man," followed closely by "Future War."

Last night I ran sound for about thirty kids who did something that my self-confidence has never allowed me to do: sing karaoke. I’ve made an ass of myself on stage in many ways, but that’s too much even for me. And these kids OWNED it.
