Double posting to forward sizzle my review: the Hyundai Inster might just be my favourite EV since the MG4, and there's things it definitely does better than that brilliant car. I'm sad to have dropped it off 😭

Weakest thing about Kia/Hyundai cars remains the OS (it's fine, but not exceptional or really that intuitive) but that's changing next year when they get an android-based system.

Ive really been loving Kia's boxy design with the EV3/EV5/EV9 - the EV5 in particular (pictured) drives wonderfully and is actually a lot smaller than it looks in photos. Its no surprise why this car is already as popular as it is in AU

Really enjoyed taking the Xpeng G6 for a spin the other week. This is a worthy Model Y alt, it does a bunch of stuff way better than Tesla and feels a lot nicer inside of. Range is great (slightly beaten by the Y's long range model) and charges super fast, especially for the price

Taking the MG Cyberster for a spin in the Hunter Valley. This might be the most special EV in Australia, it's so much fun.

The interior is gorgeous at night though. No full RGB control, but colour profiles are based on planets. Gimmicky, sure, but it's less boring than Tesla's surround strip. Can be completely disabled if you wish.

Hard to not see it as a tremendous point of failure though. A spray can or a piece of gum to the back camera and suddenly you've got no rear vision (excl. low speed parking cameras, which operate with a seperate camera)

Finally got to drive the rear window-less Polestar 4! Took it to Canberra and back. One benefit of not having the rear glass is you don't get blinded by jerks behind you with their high beams on lol

REALLY enjoying my 2nd playthrough of Avowed, especially Act 2. I missed so much content the first time around, and having played the first run primarily 1st person (musket build), going again as a third person fighter (greatsword) has been cool as

It's also getting a hatch option which looks more inline with the EV3, EV5, EV9 - but I am glad to see some of the EV6 styling come back

Really enjoying the Chery Omoda E5. Cheapest electric SUV in Australia, feels fine on the road and has decent range. Only thing I don't really like is the low DC charge capacity
