I just saw this info notice in CloudWatch Application Signals about 'computing SLOs'.

I really like the Google SRE definition of SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs (sre.google/sre-book/ser...).

According to that, this would be picking SLIs based on current performance, which they advise against.
