BREAKING: A few minutes ago, a vehicle of three people was rammed by a truck belonging to federal immigration authorities in Boyle Heights, CA. According to security footage shown to me, they deployed chemical munitions & detained the driver at gunpoint. All are US citizens according to the wife.

My heart breaks every single day for the people of Palestine. It is clear that the IDF, with the assistance of U.S., is targeting providers—doctors, farmers, cooks, aid workers, journalists—those preserving survival and truth. They are trying to eliminate any hope for Palestinians. It is pure evil.

I saw Gladiator II yesterday and was so disappointed to discover May Calamawy was completely cut from the film. It’s evident that actors (particularly women of color) who support Palestine—such as May Calamawy and Melissa Barrera —have been systemically targeted by Hollywood executives. 😡

People always ask me if i’m happier living in California weather. I think they are often surprised when I tell them how homesick I am for Chicago in the fall and early months of winter. There is not a city with more history and beauty than the working class midwest architectural gem of Chi town 🥹💕
To add some color to my very black and white feed, here is a shot from last year’s winter. Chicago’s water tower, one of the few buildings that survived the big fire in 1871.

People always ask me if i’m happier living in California weather. I think they are often surprised when I tell them how homesick I am for Chicago in the fall and early months of winter. There is not a city with more history and beauty than the working class midwest architectural gem of Chi town 🥹💕
