I'll get a HiBy R3Pro II under the Christmas tree. A beautifully crafted pocket HiRes audio player, with excellent sound, but it suffers from a standard chinese diagnosis. Its firmware is crap. But even that didn't spoil my joy of it. Damn! Hiby, is it really that hard to write good firmware? #HiBy

The revived working prototype of the Toastrack replica is here. I didn't actually have to fix anything and the PCB only has cosmetic flaws. I still have a lot of testing to do, but the project will be ready to be released to the world in a few days.

I’m closer to my goal. The first prototype of the new PCB replica for Toastrack. I’ve already found a few bugs, so it needs a few more tweaks. And of course functionality verification. But in a month or two it should be clear and ready to be released to the world.

He also wants internal AY so to reduce the number of integrated circuits I stuffed the AY addressing and AY clock frequency divider into the GAL. It worked on second try because I had small bug in equations for BC1 and BDIR :-)

I finally finished my Sizif-512k. An interesting ZX Spectrum clone, built around the Altera EPM1270 CPLD. I still need to modify the replica Speccy case (nice blue one) and fix the broken straps from the 48k-KDLX keyboard to complete it.

Have you ever had a glass at home that you loved, but it was somehow cursed? I broke it now. It cracked years ago. I dropped it a few times (of course without breaking), so I handled it with the gloves and now it's fucking on the ground and broken. Only the stem is left. 1/2

I literally want to throw up because of how our government is behaving. They see progressivism, LGBTI and liberals behind everything. But the truth is, it's all their own stupidity and hatred behind it.

Yesterday I finished playing Tomb Raider, the first game from the reboot. Apart from the unnecessarily shaky camera and slightly overcomplicated action sequences, it's an excellent adventure game. It still holds up well today and it's unbelievable that it's already 12 years old. #TombRaider
