In a sane world, this would be a huge issue being discussed and worked on by our leaders, but… we don’t live in a sane world and they are instead busy further enriching the unimaginably wealthy, and destroying the government and the social safety net programs we will need more than ever.

I know there’s been talk about Universal Basic Income and such, but… where is that money coming from? And imagine the power of the people who own and run all the computers and machines while everyone else has no work

I never understand this argument. It really shouldn’t be that hard to NOT make huge mistakes. They say “you can’t be perfect” but you can easily avoid catastrophic mistakes if you use a little caution and double check things.

It’s not great, but I don’t think Dems are going to pull a MTG and stand up and scream, so this is at least SOMETHING. Some form of resistance while still keeping decorum.

1: Work on delaying shoulder turn until front foot plants
2: reduce stagger of plant foot
3: Start pull from full reachback by bending the elbow, BEFORE turning shoulders
4: keep eyes on the disc, not turning forward
5: protract the shoulder (push it OUT)
6: Elbow stays up and out not down and in

If all, (or at least a lot of) universities stood up to him, would he actually cut funding for all of them and face the massive backlash that would bring? Would be nice if some had the backbone to force his hand

Let’s just call a spade a spade. He fired him because he’s black. They were never going to keep a black guy in that position when they are all racists who think any black American with a job is a DEI hire.
