Career wanderer. Dad of two little boys just trying to stay afloat in life. Trying out this whole “optimism” thing.
As a long time California resident, I’ve had VERY mixed feelings on Newsom. However, this latest push is 100% the right thing to do and his messaging has been amazing. Glad to see him stepping up.

Super Troopers, but not funny.

Embarrassing. Both the parade and the coverage. What is Bezos afraid of?

I was in college and walking back to my apartment, saw a guy rolling a blunt in a doorway of a closed store. Realized it was Del tha Funkee Homosapien. Said sup, he said sup and went back to rolling.

@matthewhleach.bsky.social didn’t realize you were a Del nerd too!

So jealous. I saw him around 2003-2004 at the Cow Palace as part of some large rave thing. Mind blowing. Still go back to Inner City Life and Timeless pretty often.

Given the state of home plate umpiring this season, surprised they didn’t call it a strike.

It’s what we grew up eating both in the Soviet Union and when we moved to the states. Good rye bread, lots of butter, cheese, and some tomatoes/cucumbers usually. We weren’t a big fruit house. Still love it from time to time.

Come to the Bay Area, we have plenty 😉

I’ll skip it all and go find the greasiest burrito place I can find. I have a lot of problems with LA, but food being “mid” or healthy is not one of them.

It’s a steal! $1.75m for the commercial property and bar. I just hope whoever buys it doesn’t change a thing.

Brings back so many memories of being home over the summer as a kid and getting so excited about world’s strongest man competitions. The best.

Yea, not excusing Nate’s original message. It was completely unnecessarily confrontational. My point is that there are a lot of awesome AI tools out there, but they often haven’t done a good job of describing what they’re for. ChatGPT is amazing for contract review. Not great for data. Etc.

Also, there’s a bit of a misconception about ChatGPT. It’s not search and not really meant to look up those kinds of facts (not that it shouldn’t do better with them…). Try Perplexity instead for searching.

I’m always surprised when people post these screenshots. I rarely have ChatGPT have these issues. This is the answer I get.
