You know the authoritarianism is taking hold when the NYT starts referring to Him with a capital H.

So that’s why I’m requesting @johnfetterman.com do what’s right for the people of Pennsylvania and let somebody else serve into 2029. The governor might even keep it in the Fetterman family, but in my wildest dreams @malcolmkenyatta.bsky.social gets to succeed @fetterman.senate.gov.

Last month I wrote to @fetterman.senate.gov about Kilmar Abrego Garcia. When Fetterman wrote me back, he said a whole page worth of stuff I was glad to hear. None of it pertained to Kilmar Abrego Garcia. If Fetterman read my message at all, I hope he wasn’t driving at the time. He didn’t comprehend.

Insurrection wasn’t a word bandied about only after seeing the events of Jan. 6, 2021, transpire. Republicans were even calling it that beforehand. This letter appeared on Jan. 3, 2021 in which the writer notes, “The party of Lincoln is seemingly becoming the party of insurrection.”

For comparison’s sake, the insurrection coverage filled the front page four years ago today and splashed over onto several more full pages inside.

Why didn’t Giuliani cough up the evidence that would have exonerated him? Now he’s in contempt of court and might have to turn over a Palm Beach condo if the court determines it’s a vacation home and not his primary residence. He and his lawyers failed to deliver, over and over.

Don’tcha just love it when the transition of presidential power is performed so routinely, and without objection in Congress, that coverage of it in your local paper buries it four pages in? Oh, and right below it, “Giuliani found in contempt of court.”
