Ok now that I know I won't be getting a seat upgrade I'm not sure the whole process was rational.

I dressed up as a utility monster for Halloween, but no one else seemed to enjoy it as much as I did.

I was thinking of being a bat for Halloween, but I just couldn't imagine what it would be like.

I was going to dress up as a philosophical zombie for Halloween, but I wasn't feeling it.

PS I'm also conscious that lots of awesome applications wouldn't have got funded today and that it is such a lottery. So, commiserations to those who didn't have good luck today.

You would hope that would be painful for someone to hear but I think the real reviewer 2 artists might enjoy that experience ("ah yes, I really showed that idiot how stupid their paper was with that devastating quip")
