Finally, the youngest loves sonic the hedgehog and requested a sonic hooded scarf with pockets and decked out with sonic ears and spikes.

Crocheted hooded scarf with monkey ears requested by my partner’s second youngest. She’s a texture girlie and you can’t tell but this is a super soft scarf/hood made with Lion’s Brand yarn called “Feels like Dream”. I can’t recommend this one enough. It’s so soft, that my next projects will use this

Crochet Hilda doll for my partner’s oldest daughter. Hilda is her favourite cartoon and character.

Crochet dump:
I think I’ll be keeping this as a running thread. Here are the projects completed in the last two month’s for my partner’s four children:

I’m proud of our students for organizing this on our campus!

This is exactly how the subjects would curry favour with the emperor of Chinese dynasties….

I picture this: translates to “Thank you, High Emperor”.

My cousin came from Vancouver to visit me in Alberta…which of course is the “Texas” of Canada. I mean, we have beef and we have guns. So we went to the shooting range and he shot a revolver and then we went for steaks (Alberta beef).

1-day project completed. This use a Cinnamoroll amigurumi, made from this pattern: www.cutiepiecrochet.com/post/cinnamo...

For bigger stuffies, I used a bulky yarn (4) with a 7.00 mm hook. (Also uses more poly fill).

This was a birthday gift for one of my 4 step kids.

Don’t take the bait. The money is being withheld by the AB government. It’s not because of EPSB mismanagement.

A screenshot of the TLDR newsletter from WealthSimple. We may know that the American Eagle stock soared 33% after Sweeney’s ad, but foot traffic is down 4% then 9% over two weeks. Numbers don’t lie. :) the people who bought shares in AE after the ad might just be white supremacists. :)

If you like freshwater…BC has beautiful scenery + beaches on the big lakes.

Yours looks easier to replicate using crochet.

You’re so sweet. Thank you for your concern. LOL. If anything, it’s experiences in these situations that lead me to grow and mature.

I was once a girl who bought THiS for her white supremacist boyfriend.

I would say I’ve grown.

Here’s my brother prepping three chirashi bowls. He’s cutting the hamachi.

When we were young, we read a lot of Japanese comic books. This may be why my brother is so good at cooking. This is only one of the mangas series we read. We read at least two other series about Japanese cooking (not just sushi).

Back in Burnaby with my brother, and I’m just going to post food.

His chirashi bowls with sweet shrimp, yellowtail, tuna and scallops were so delightful. And he made chicken karaage (fried chicken) as well (for my kid).

Dessert: California white peaches that were 10/10

Did you know that SFU campus is hosting the set of a mysterious movie (code name KOI) which features a lot of Japanese inspired sets? They have been set building for weeks. We found the trailer site too!

My brother’s bookshelf.

One shelf has a few of my Psychology Texts I get from publishers. :)

My brother is the best person I’ve met. He’s the safest emotionally, he’s the best host and he makes the best food.

We had lamb for lunch and yellowtail chirashi bowl for dinner.

Now I’m back in Burnaby for a day before heading to Salt Spring Island.
:)

Snips of BC, cherry picking, Naramata Falls hike and OK canal river float with my son jumping from the bridge.

A friend took this picture of me moving a top rope from one anchor to the next. Not shown, me triple checking the back up to my backup for my own personal belay anchor (to cater to my feeling of psychological safety).

Even though this trip has had much drama, I can say it’s BC is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been in Canada.
