It's the end of the blue era at the countryside plot! I've been painting everything chocolate brown so that it will look better with the medium emerald green we plan to paint our tiny house in the future. The garden is also looking pretty good this spring! 🏠🌱

It's still pink poppy season at the countryside plot... And the climbing jasmine will be flowering soon as well. 🌱

UPDATE: I was right about the second larkspur to open its flowers being white! So pretty. 😍 Am I the only one thinking they kind of look like little orchids? 🌱 #gardening #flowerreport #spring

This is my first year growing larkspur from seed, and the first flowers have just opened! 😍 Such a lovely purple color, and I can't wait to see what other colors will pop up... Not counting the white one next to this plant probably opening tomorrow. 🌱 #gardening #flowerreport #spring

The weather has been very mild this week, and I decided to try and burn away my stubborn pneumonia by soaking up some winter sun in the garden. The Stranger by Harlan Coben is keeping me company, which I'm really enjoying so far. 💙📚 #currentlyreading

Another year of severe frost damaged a lot of our plants, but a quick trip to the nursery brought back some color to the winter garden. Pictured below: verbena, erysimum and snapdragon. 🌱

It's been a while since I did a countryside plot building update... The first phase of our #tinyhouse and bbq area has been finished for a month or so, and we are waiting for our builder to free up time to start on the roof. 🏠 #inprogress

It's chrysanthemum season again! Fun fact: somehow this plant changed its color from the warm yellow from the last two years to this gorgeous blend of purple and orange! 😍🌱

Whoops it's been longer than I thought since I last posted something... 🙈 Happy Easter everyone!! This is our Easter egg this year: a chocolate shell with oreo cheesecake filling and topped with oreo and a cookies&cream chocolate bar. These 'open' eggs are very popular down here! 🥚🍫🍪

We had a very unusual visitor at our countryside plot yesterday: two Rothschild's silk moths (you can just see a wing of the second). As far as I'm aware they aren't supposed to be quite this far down south in Argentina, but they sure are beautiful! 🦋🌱
