I believe all this adds up to the NDP having a significant racism problem that needs to be addressed. I have written and spoken extensively about Canada’s role in Haiti, Africa, Venezuela, Palestine and elsewhere.

While less racist in their tone today, NDP MPs have employed the word “antisemitism” in discussing Palestine related matters more than the term “Jewish supremacy” during two years of genocide to advance Jewish supremacy.

Unfortunately, the NDP voted to back a NATO war overseen by a Canadian general, which was justified with outlandish and racist claims that sub-Saharan African mercenaries fuelled by Viagra given by Muamar Gaddafi engaged in mass rape.

Unofficially, the Core Group traces its roots to the 2003 “Ottawa Initiative on Haiti” meeting where US, French, OAS and Canadian officials discussed overthrowing Haiti’s elected government and putting the country under UN trusteeship.

Made up of the ambassadors of the US, France, Canada, Brazil, Spain, OAS and EU, the Core Group has heavily shaped Haitian affairs since US, French and Canadian troops overthrew the country’s elected government in 2004 and instigated a UN occupation force.

If one concludes that Canadian foreign policy is fundamentally racist then it probably would be racist to exclude a leading critic of that policy. Canada’s most crassly anti-Black policy today is this country’s role in the Haiti Core Group.
