Hi @tgoerke.bsky.social! Thanks for asking! For this Agora x Devconnect collab, only Zupass is needed to participate. It allows users to prove anonymously that they own a ticket to DevConnect. No phone number or any other info is needed.

✅ Main consensus: “The ultra-rich & multinationals must pay their fair share of taxes.”
⚡ Main disagreement: calls for institutional upheaval (removing elected officials, resignations).

7,500+ votes and 110+ proposals from 240+ participants in just 2 weeks. People voted agree/disagree/unsure or added their own statements. Agora’s algorithm revealed what divided and what united them.

The surprising downside is that some delegates started using Agora as a "propaganda tool" to persuade the swing delegates... For example, saying "you see, all others agreed on this idea so you should agree with us too!" [4/X]

This could mean that Agora succeeded in bridging the gaps and helping the delegates to draft clauses based on common ground. [3/X]

The committees that used Agora came up with more similar clauses for resolution papers, compared to the ones that didn't. Delegates seemed to agree with each other more after using Agora. [2/X]
