A few weeks ago I was in Wuppertal, Germany. The main purpose was to attend a workshop at the university, but I was more impressed by the Gemarker Kirche and its museum dedicated to the so-called Barmen Theological Declaration, written by Karl Barth and members of the Confessing Church.
