A new edited book on digital ethics is out and presumably will be influential. However almost no mention of datafication let alone its implications. Little disappointing to see the mountains between the applied ethicists and tech scholarship.

Given that the power is a privilege to denounce the responsibility that comes with it, and that friendships really blur such boundaries, friendly AI perspectives feel like the most detrimental ones hindering that responsibility.
