A habit that people building apps should get out of fast is asking users about what features they want. They don’t know! Their ideas will be whack, and you’ll feel pressured to build them, and you’ll bloat your wares.

I used to have a feeling that I was coding all day but achieved very little, mostly when I was working on some feature that included a research on how to actually do the thing. It was like I had no proof of how many hours I “wasted” checking every potential solution branch.
