hey, fellow very recent blender donut graduate here, yours looks pretty good! here's how mine turned out, altho i took some liberty
i will say, the animation part is actually a lot simpler than you think, the only thing is i wouldn't worry about any geometry nodes even if mentioned, it's too much rn
