I’ve had good luck blocking them en masse when they flock to certain posts with their laugh reacts. Certainly tedious in the moment, but it’s helped a lot. I blocked over 200 alone when David posted about the Trans Day of Remembrance gathering back in November. But I hear you, it can be draining.

Thank you for this, David. It’s all very true. I have blocked around 300 of the worst bigots on the Fairbanks, Alaska page, which is one of the main reasons my post from the other night has been so relatively peaceful. Perhaps the admins saw it being “well-received” and left it up. I have to wonder.
