It's the versions of them based off a Modern Alternate Universe lifted from Samsho's official Modern day AU: "Yagyu Life Theatre", so they're dressed in modern clothes. Elleanor is in her blue denim jacket and dress with a black turtleneck while Yashamaru is in full black leather jacket and a black turtleneck. He is booping Elleanor's nose with his own, kind of like a crow would boop someone with their beak lovingly, as a small sign of affection. He is not the type to be overt with affection or emotions as a whole (he's quite stoic and edgy, you see). Elleanor appreciates the gesture regardless as shown with a big smile in the small chibi heads of the two on the top left.
