Readers, keep me in your prayers. I'm reading Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros and Battle Ground by Jim Butcher at the same time. I just know I'm going to hurt at the end of this.

Glad I get to spend Angus's birthday at home with him. I get to curl up and read Onyx Storm while cuddling the most handsome boy 💚

Finished Peace Talks yesterday but didn't post because I was emotionally WRECKED. Jim Butcher truly is an amazing writer who pulls you into the intensity and emotion of each situation and character.

Book updates: Skin Game was AMAZING. Might just be my favorite Dresden book to be honest. The mix of feelings without it tipping into despair was wonderful. I'm Glad My Mom Died was a big oof due to my own life but it was really well written. Two books left to complete all my book challenges!

Paused listening to Skin Games the last few weeks as I have three other books to finish by the end of the year that are part of book challenges. Traveling with my wife today though so going back to it. Wish me luck!

Too many feels in this book for today. I was NOT prepared for Mr. Sunshine's effort to support Michael's will nor Harry reading with the little one. (Trying to avoid giving too many spoilers)

Goodman Grey gave me the heebie jeebies when all I'd gotten was his description. His tone when talking to Nicodemus though, terrifying.

Started Skin Game by Jim Butcher today and even though I knew in advance that Nicodemus would be in it I STILL had a visceral reaction when he actually appeared. 😡 📚💙
