This took over the course of two DAYS to get to. I ended up over-rendering the face/helm because I was so dissatisfied with the shading, wanting it to be more. I’d say… you could try using more angular shapes, like a rhombus! So I don’t typically draw humans but I DO draw humanoids. What’s helped me for each of them is to draw more angular shapes/lines versus rounder ones.
Basically we go a bit ‘unrealistic’. Left img is this with limbs and right is base
