Yoon’s declaration of martial law failed. This episode examines the history and work of protest movements in Korea as well as the mixed legacy of Christianity, shaped in part by its right‑wing ideology.

I secured five senior scholars of the New Testament for my edited volume project. The volume is titled Rethinking Paul: Critical Conversations for Our World. Now I will look for the potential publishers. Who can?

Over the past few days, I have been engaged in a collaborative book project. Following discussions with colleagues, the project's scope is now more defined, and my focus will be on Paul. Excited to have four contributors already, who are leading voices in the New Testament.

A new book proposal is under discussion with the publisher. In response to reviewers’ feedback, I clarified the book’s purpose. Overall, I am convinced this project will bear fruit. The new title is Embodied Kingdom: Luke’s Mindful Theology of God’s Present Reign.

This morning, I was scanning the news and noticed an article about “mental exercise” and its benefits. That made me think of a book titled Christian Mental Exercise: Toward Mental Resilience and Prosperity. It would be a slender volume—fewer than 100 pages—and I already have some ideas for it.

It's surprising to find my slender volume Monotheism, Biblical Traditions, and Race Relations (Cambridge Univ. Press, 2022) reviewed by a colleague. I really appreciate Dr. Rodolfo Estrada's generous and critical review in RBL.

I am progressing with my book project. I now have a book description, a table of contents, and short annotated chapters. This new project will occupy my mind for the next several months. I do what I can and keep doing. I also keep revising.
