Good thing I had no knowledge of Marx and leftist theory until after high school and through my own intellectual curiosity lead by our systems inability to address the material woes I saw around me... do they think the Russian peasantry had a deep understanding of Marx before the October revolution?

Yeahhh there’s definitely a lot of time throughout the day that I could set aside to read. I’m definitely guilty of watching YouTube or Twitch all day instead of opening up the book I’m reading.

How do you read fast enough to reach this goal while at the same time retaining what you read?
If I read any faster than like 20-30 pages an hour I will look at the last page with a blank stare wondering what those 20 pages were about…

Liberals in power would rather see the rise of fascism than make concessions to the left at the expense of capital. It happened in the Weimar Republic and it’s happening again today, with Democrat leadership blaming the left and the likes of Dana or Morning Joe normalizing the ideology.

I’ve liked the sound of it & some of the lyrics have been really catchy & clever but I haven’t sat down to try & understand it fully & I haven’t picked up a central theme yet. Some songs are peak FJM, what we’ve come to love from his music, & a few are a bit more experimental but really well done.
