She is inpatient at [current hospital name] but is being denied necessary treatment, and the care teams refuse to refer her out to another facility that could provide care. [Current hospital name] is also attempting unsafe discharge. We need an emergency order to prevent discharge and obtain care.

- you also want to specify *acute* organ failure
If the hospital attempts to discharge Sasha:
FIRST tell them this: "She is too critical to be discharged safely."
(If it was the same hospital as before, or adjust wording to be accurate: "You wrongfully discharged her before and she is dying as a result of this malpractice.")
THEN, if the hospital dismisses your concerns and still attempts to discharge her, say "I am contacting an attorney."
If Sasha is on Medicare or Medi-Cal, you should say, "I know Sasha is protected from wrongful discharge under state law, and we will seek emergency appeal."
