Yesterday I spoke (online) at the symposium in Paris. I discussed how early modern mapmakers mapped the roads and paths of Sloboda Ukraine and how I combined historical maps with other sources to reconstruct the region’s 18th-century road network. Thankful to the organisers for this opportunity!
