What do we do next? (or we must do)
1️⃣ Address temporariness by establishing pathways for permanent residency, circular migration, or return.
2️⃣ Adopt a gender-sensitive approach in policy design and implementation.
3️⃣ Expand simplified protection mechanisms to other migrant and refugee groups.

1️⃣ Long-standing issues in asylum processes and irregular migration can be solved when there is political will. But what about other refugee groups?
2️⃣ TPD's temporary nature creates uncertainty. Many BoTPs remain in legal and economic limbo.
3️⃣ Structural gaps in EU migration policies.
